KEPSA’s Membership comprises private sector associations and corporate bodies in all sectors of the economy including trade associations. KEPSA speaks for multinationals, SME’s and Startups organized under different sector boards and working groups reflective of the 16 sectors of the economy. KEPSA has over 500,000 members through Associations and Companies.
The registered MSMEs will be able to access various benefits and opportunities that will be shared by KEPSA through the portal accounts of registered users. Some of the opportunities include loans, capacity building through training and mentorship and networking among others.
Business registration
The users (MSMEs) will be required to register their business on the portal. The users will voluntary give the information requested on the website. Initially, the user will be required to create an account on the portal and through the account, the user will register the business by giving the business bio-details which include business name, business registration number and permits/licenses, KRA Pin number, industry sector, physical address, business contacts, number of employees, and turnover. Other details required include business ownership details and management details, KEPSA membership, digital marketing, and areas of capacity building required. The provision of the above information will help KEPSA to understand your business and share important information relevant to your business in the future.
Data usage
The data shared through the SME portal will be used internally by KEPSA to support your business through various channels.
Charges and fees
KEPSA does not charge any fees for MSMEs registering on the SME portal. However, charges and fees may occur for some of the opportunities shared on the portal that require the user to pay certain fees to access the opportunities. Where there will be charges, KEPSA will share the details in due course during the application for the opportunity including the payment process for the fees.
Contacts and communications
KEPSA will communicate the registered users from time to time through the portal, SMS, email, and phone calls to inform them of new opportunities, request or follow up on information among others.
The users of the portal can contact KEPSA for more details through the contacts provided on the portal.
Notices & changes to the terms & conditions
All notices or other communications to be given under this Agreement to either party shall be sent by e-mail. Notices shall be deemed to be received on dispatch provided that the sender has received a receipt indicating proper transmission.
These Terms and Conditions may be varied by KEPSA at its sole discretion from time to time. KEPSA will notify the user of the changes by e-mail and/or SMS subject to the revised Terms and Conditions. The users continued use of the SME portal will be deemed to be acceptance by the user of any such changes to these Terms and Conditions.
Representations and Warranties
SystemSettings The user represents and warrants to KEPSA as at the date of this Agreement that all factual information supplied to KEPSA through the portal is made in good faith, true at the time and the recipient did not omit to mention anything material which may render it untrue or misleading
Governing law
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the law of the Republic of Kenya. The Courts of the Republic of Kenya shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
